2. "I see you there!" (Oh, thank God!)

We can't stress this enough: Even the busiest bartender or server is able to ACKNOWLEDGE every guest every time! Even if you are unable to provide service immediately, letting your patron know that you are aware of their presence and that you will be with them shortly is usually all it takes to keep them patient and give you a minute to catch up and reset.

IMPORTANT: Don't quote times and ALWAYS follow up! Quit making excuses for giving poor service! Find and fix the problems that cause it.
